A reflection from Elizabeth in our discussion of membership of our group
Tennyson might be right:
There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
What a wonderful poem, thanks to Elizabeth for sharing.
Elaine – delighted to find this new development in my life this morning. Comments are timely.
Yesterday I spoke with June Alexander – journalist and creative writer -co-authoring a book on the Gippsland Rural Women’s network and all of a sudden there was interest in words I’ve been crafting and sending out into the world.
This blog will work like that …many thanks.
Great news Helen. Not such a ‘voice in the wilderness’?
